The Nokia N97 is real and a thing of beauty. We know this because we’ve just spent the last 24 hours in its company. The kind people at Nokia let us free with their only sample.

Sadly, it’s gone back to whence it came now but it gave us a real insight into how well built and sturdy it is. Read on to see how 24 hours with the Nokia N97 looks and feels…

The Nokia N97 is a thing of beauty. That’s the only thing we’re allowed to say on the subject. Oh, that and you won’t be disappointed when it ships in June, it’s THAT good!

Under the terms of the deal we struck with Nokia, we’re not allowed to write a review of the Nokia N97 we had, as it’s still a prototype but we were allowed to photograph it. So, we’d like to present to you 24 photos in honour of the 24 hours we spent in the company of the Nokia N97.

From the images you’ll see that we got to play with the interface, use the camera and even check out the innovative spring action on the slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Check out our experiences with the Nokia N97:

It was an evil moment when the bad man in a Royal PO uniform took it out of our hands this morning – now we know what Royally PO’d feels like…

I must say brilliant photos & great post, shame you couldn\’t write a review.
With the launch of Ovi next month (May 09) this phone will truly lead the way into the future.
