Nokia E75 hands-on review

The Nokia E75 shipped to the shops this week and the question most people will be asking is whether this device really is a worthy successor to all-conquering Nokia E71.

The Nokia E75 takes a different tack to email than the E71, by incorporating a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is also the first Nokia to ship with Nokia Messaging as standard but is it the device to beat the Nokia E71?

The Nokia E75 started shipping this week and here in the UK can be bought through the Nokia Online store for £379 (inc. VAT) SIM free.

While we're waiting patiently to get out hands on a device, we've been pouring over some of the reviews that have crossed our path. The best so far has to be the this great Nokia E75 hands-on over at ZOMBGitsCJ. The reason we like this review, apart from the cracking number of images taken, is that it sets out to answer a simple question: Is it better than the E71?

Check out the tech spec for the Nokia E75

CJ states that the build quality is great and very much in keeping with the rest of the E Series, even the weight balance seems right. The front of the handset looks very much like an E Series but the QWERTY keyboard sliding out is something else.

It's s a great hands-on and worth checking out at ZOMBGitsCJ.

And the answer to the question posed? Well, it seems that it's the best E Series out there but if you already own a Nokia E71, CJ reckons there isn't enough in the Nokia E75 to make it a worthwhile upgrade.

We'll let you know our feelings when we get our hands on the Nokia E75 in the next week or so.

I expect that the Nokia E75 is an evolution not a revoltion to the Nokia E71 but quite worth to buy.
