The Nokia E75 started to ship a couple of weeks ago but we've just heard from Nokia that its new QWERTY device is in-store as of today! At last we should be able to get our hands on the Nokia E75 and check out whether the new keyboard makes it the Nokia E71-killer that some people have alluded to.

The Nokia E75 has arrived in stores in the UK. Designed to provide the best email experience, this is the first device to offer the latest email user interface, Nokia Messaging. The device is available today, 17 April 2009, at Nokia flagship stores in the UK or at Nokia Online for £379 SIM free (including VAT).

The announcement from Nokia goes on to say:

The Nokia E75 offers the benefits of full desktop email functionality and complete integration of Nokia's email and messaging services, including:

·     Slide out QWERTY keyboard design and efficient three-step email setup.

·     Easy access to both corporate and consumer email accounts -Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail, Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler - in one UI.

·     Two customisable home screen views for both business and personal use, making work life balance more manageable.

·     Integration with other Ovi services, including Ovi Files, for storing and accessing files and documents on your PC, even if it is offline. Nokia Maps, which works with the onboard A-GPS is also preloaded and Nokia's games service N-Gage is supported for the first time in a Nokia Eseries device.

The E55 is a waayy better device, more compact and intuitive. The E75 just has a complicated form factor that I don’t see useful on a smartphone with a 2.4 screen.
