The Nokia N97 Members Club is a little something Nokia has cooked up to help get the word about the imminent release of the Nokia N97 out there. It's a regular newsletter that gives you a first-hand insight into what the N97 is all about and how we'll be able to make the most of it.

The first newsletters has just popped into how inbox and its got a great video that takes a look at all the design aspects of the Nokia N97.

The Nokia N97 has to be one of the most talked about Nokia launches for a while and helping get the message out there is The Nokia N97 Members Club, which we've signed up to. This is a newsletter for those who want to get the inside skinny on all things N97 related.

The first of what we hope will be a number of emails has arrived and with it a video about how the Nokia N97 isn't just about delivering another smartphone but how Nokia has worked to make it the best smartphone out there. We'll leave you with the The Nokia N97 Members Club to sum up.

The film is much more than a product showreel; it’s a montage of footage, and interviews that demonstrate the testing, thinking, and tweaking behind Nokia’s

most advanced and most personalized Internet-enabled device. Featuring unseen interviews with Nokia designers from the core development team, the film charts the journey from design lab to production line.

Have a look at how the Nokia N97’s customizable home screen becomes a window into a personalized Internet experience, or the real-life examples of how its applications and services can keep users ‘always on’ with their social networks.

I just ordered my N97 from Vodafone Australia. Can\’t wait to get my hands on it. I really wanted a white one, but apparently only black is available…sigh, I guess as The Rolling Stones once sang \"you can\’t always get what you want.
My very first PDA was a PSION 3 Series way back in the the mid \’90s. To think that the N97 is using Symbian as it\’s OS and it is a direct descendant of that wonderful device, just amazes me! I think it had 4MB of internal storage and two Slots for Compact Flash Cards, that were capable of about 8 MB each (if you could afford them). I loved that little machine and went on to buy a \"5 Series\" a couple of years later. I\’ve since used other PDA\’s and smart phones with various OS\’s, but Symbian is still the best for me!
