We've all been there, stood out in the car park of some retail park tagged onto the edge of some New Town and wondering where exactly you've parked the car? Well, there seems to be a very simple way to use your Nokia E71, or any other Nokia phone that comes with GPS built-in, to help you find things. Follow us over here and we'll let you in to the secret...

The Nokia E71 comes with GPS built-in, so it's a natural that you're using either Google Maps or Nokia Maps. So, this great tip over on E71 Fanatics is perfect for making sure you never lose your car again.

The trick is to remember to load Google Maps as you get out of your car and centre the GPS signal, by clicking '0' and locking it into position. You then need to save this location under 'Save as a favourite' and you're all set to go shopping.

When you've shopped till you dropped, simply fire up Maps again you'll find the star highlighted over your car. This trick also works in Nokia Maps but according to the E71 Fanatics this is a little more fiddly to set up and manage – one for the Nokia Beta Lab boys to play with and perfect we think?

It's a great trick and shows the versatility you can put your Nokia E71 to without having to think about getting too technical with your Nokia E71.

If this method works for keeping tabs on your car when you're out shopping, surely it can be used to keep an eye on other things? What do you think? Tried the GPS tracking out on your Nokia E71 or other Nokia phone lately? Let us know in the Comments below....

Do you always need a 3G or Wi-Fi connection to use your GPS on the Nokia E71?

So far as I am concered the phones with QWERTY keypad are like smiling man who has many many teeth. The Nokia E71 looks better-it has large, but small teeth. But for people with small fingers it would be hard to type. Anyway this is a greatest business phone ever, a strong alternative of Blackberry Bold.
