Ovi Store has been live for a little over a week now and in that time we've started to see a few changes made to the site. For instance, a new content wall has appeared on the main page and as promised the content has started to grow. Here we take a look at the latest apps to appear on Ovi Store this week....

Ovi Store is the one-stop shop for all things Nokia. It's a marketplace where third-party developers, as well as Nokia, can showcase and sell (or give away free) their latest apps and utilities. We've been keeping an eye on the site since it launched and have seen the speed of the site has started to improve and also more apps have started to appear.

Here we have the latest apps to appear on Ovi Store, so you can see whether they're worth getting ahold of:

Twittix - Twitter for Nokia

Type: Social Networks

Price: £4

Size: 0.448MB

make the most of social media on your Nokia by using one of the most flexible Twitter apps around. Packing in all features of the original version, you can send, receive, update and share Tweets wherever you are. OK, so this version isn't free but it'll download quickly, so staying in touch with Stephen Fry has never never been easier.

Facebook for Nokia

Type: Social Networks

Price: Free

Size: 0.464MB

So, you've got Twitter in place that means you'll also have a Facebook account, so why not access it when on the move? This mobile version allows you to do everything the desktop version offers, so update your status, see what others are up to, upload images and check your messages. In fact, the Facebook for Nokia S60 brings Facebook directly to your phone.

Shazam

Type: Music

Price: £4

Size: 0.547MB

We've all done it, heard a piece of music we thought we recognised, or was so new no one knows what it's called. With Shazam you can record the briefest snatch and have the service identify it for you. What's more, once you've identified it you can buy and download it or even find similar tracks to check out.

Mail for Exchange

Type: Utilities

Price: Free

Size: 1.726MB

It's not just third-party apps you'll find on Ovi Store as Nokia wants you to make the most of its own tools too. Mail for Exchange (MfE) uses the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol to enable you to use the email, Contacts, Calendar, and tasks of your Microsoft Exchange Server account on your mobile phone. You'll need an Exchange Server account to use the app but if email is essential then so is this app.

iAnywhere Mobile Office

Type: Business

Price: Free

Size: 0.766MB

Another app that works with Microsoft Exchange, as well as Lotus Domino, is iAnywhere Mobile Office, which allows you to extend your mobile office. The client  requires use of the iAnywhere Mobile Office server and a client access license to connect with corporate email systems. With this in mind, it's best set up by your IT department but once up and running it makes getting your business correspondence oh so easy.

You'll find all these apps and plenty of other tools on offer at the Nokia Ovi Store. You'll need an Ovi account before you can download apps, and to specify the make of Nokia phone you have.
