The Nokia N97 has officially landed. May be not in-store but on our doorstep! This isn't a pre-production sample or any other form of not-quite finished product but the full Nokia N97 in all its QWERTY glory and S60 5th Edition goodness.

Want to know what you get in the box, check out the great new charger link and other stuff that comes with the Nokia N97, then join us for the Nokia N97 unboxing, NokNok style...

The Nokia N97 is Nokia's latest flagship device and embodies everything that phrase should mean; fantastic style, great build quality and enough features to over shadow the rest of the smartphone market.

The Nokia N97 has landed on our doorstep and the first we wanted to so was bring you our unboxing. Unlike our previous hands-on on the Nokia N97, this is a fully working version and we'll be bringing you some pretty in-depth reviews over the next few days. However, for now we present the Nokia N97 unboxing in al its glory.

For those not in the know, the Nokia N97 is a 3.5-inch touchscreen smartphone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that runs the Symbian S60 5th Edition operating system. The 5th Edition OS allows you to load apps and interact with your favourite tools by simply tapping the screen.

The QWERTY keyboard is a great size and allows you to write longer emails and full length word documents with ease. The Nokia N97 goes on sale on the 19th June at Nokia stores around the country and can be pre-order for £499 (inc. VAT). It will then go on sale from Carphone Warehouse, 3, T-Mobile, Phones 4U and other vendors from the 26th June.

This latest Nokia handset looks like a complete winner but it’s surely going to have a fight on its hands with the Palm Pre and new iPhone imminent.

I had a play with it here but I want to get an idea of how big it is as well compared to the N96.

Also does anyone know what it’s going to cost yet?

I think Nokia needs to keep releasing devices like Samsung and SE. They have a good device, but they can\’t stop here! They have opened the can of worms and have some competition.

I will remain loyal to Nokia because of their services, device build quality, and overall satisfaction with their products. I hope they stay at the top, but if another company passes them up and Nokia starts slacking, I will reconsider.

Nice post and keep us updated.
