The Nokia E75 has gone and got itself a firmware update to v110.48.125. This doesn't look like a major update, more an exercise in bug fixing that should speed up the overall performance of the device.

The Nokia E75 is a S60 3rd Edition smartphone with 2.4-inch screen and full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from the back of the phone.

Check with the updater on your phone but if its not arrived yet, don't be too concerned as  the update started in the Asia Pacific region but has already hit parts of Europe. It is expected in all regions in the next couple of days. The 6MB update is available as part of NSU (Nokia Software Updater) but it's also being sent OTA (Over The Air).

Nokia hasn't released an official changelog for the Nokia E75  firmware update to v110.48.125. However, online reports have stated that the firmware update to v110.48.125 does indeed speeds up but that email is still a little sluggish.

Before you run any update, we'd suggest making a backup of all your data, just in case anything goes wrong.
