I tried the iPlayer out and found much of the same frustrations as you have, the quality of the video you are provided with is somewhat poor I thought. To give the BBC credit though, the iPlayer simply would have never been possible without DRM and they have to be creditied with at very least making an attempt to making all their content available online and some people will no doubt find this service useful once they have managed to set it up.

yeh i have a problem that even when im running via WIFI.. it says i need a wifi connection…

Have upgraded in the last 7 days to N97 from N95 gb. I have Iplayer on both phones which runs well om wifi. but will not run on 3.5g!!
Worst of all. Where is the option to download from iplayer??
After all you dont always want to watch streamed programming; you amy want to download and watch later. Come on BBC or Nokia. Sort this out…..

N97 by the way is a very capable piece of kit.

Why on earth doesn’t the n97 app let you watch live tv when the n 95 app does!
