The Nokia N97 wasn't the only Nokia smartphone to go on sale at the Nokia Store this week. The Nokia N86 8MP is the first Nokia smartphone to sport a 8-Megapixel camera and with a SIM free price of £399 (inc. VAT), this could well be the happy snapper of the summer.
We checked it out in-store, see how we got on with the Nokia N86 8MP...
The Nokia N86 8MP is something a little different, as it offers everything the usual smartphone from Nokia offers but packs in a seriously high-end camera. It's not just the camera that makes this a great phone, as Nokia puts it, the Nokia N86 8MP has a 'high quality 8-Megapixel camera, A-GPS, compass, games and lots of memory make this a no-compromise all-in-one device.'

What's more, it comes with a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen, so using as a viewfinder or to view back your images offers the best true-to-life colour around, while it's also great for reading messages and navigating your apps. You can also record video on the Nokia N86 8MP at 352 x 288 pixels in full 30fps rate. There is also HD mode, as well as 8x digital video zoom. With 8GB of internal memory and microSD slot ready to take up to a further 16GB, you won't want for much in the way of storage. Other tech specs include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and full support for Ovi Store.
