The Nokia N86 8MP landed in stores at the end of last week and our very own unit has arrived this morning. The Nokia N86 8MP is seen in some quarters as an upgrade of the N95 8MB but it's a fully-fledged smartphone in its own right. Check out our unboxing and see how well your £399 (inc. VAT) SIM free is to be spent with Nokia's first 8-Megapixel camera...

The Nokia N86 8MP is the first Nokia S60 3rd Edition smartphone to pack in a whopping 8-Megapixel camera. The eCarl Zeiss optics with dual-LED flashand full mechanical shutter.

The Nokia N86 8MP comes with a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen and packs in 8GB of storage, as well as GPS and everything we’ve come to expect from Nokia, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It's the first Nokia smartphone to come pre-loaded with Nokia Maps 3.0, which when used with the GPS and camera means you can geo-tag your images before sending them on to friends.
