Nokia recently gave us EIGHT Nokia N97 smartphones to give away as apart of their Search for N campaign. The lucky winners received their prizes before the official launch and have been busy getting accustomed to the how the Nokia N97 works, and hopefully how much it's changed their lives. Here we look at how a couple more winners have got on with the Nokia N97....
Remember the Search for N competition from a few weeks back? It was a chance for eight lucky NokNok readers to be the first people in the UK to get their hands on a Nokia N97. The winners received their prized Nokia N97 devices the other week but we've been back in touch them to see how they're getting on with the devices.

We thought it would be good to get back in touch and see how they are finding things. This is a great opportunity to get some feedback from real world users. We asked them what they liked. Loved or hated about the Nokia N97 and got some great feedback.
Christian Haslam, from Brighton, was the first person to get back in touch and told us of his Nokia N97, 'This phone is one of the best built phones Nokia have made to date. Its a pleasure to use and really useful to take a glimpse at your phone and have all the information you need on one homepage in the form of Widgets. The QWERTY Keypad is great for writing emails and the web browsers is much faster then any other Nokia phone I've used in the past.'
Chris Leeburn, from Derbyshire, offered us a far longer account of his Nokia N97, with some great comments on how the Widgets work - 'I'm overjoyed at how the device looks and feels - it is nothing like any Nokia I've ever owned before. It's a lot smaller than any video I watched prior to holding one. In terms of quality - it feels amazing. mechanism is a treat - i constantly find myself messing with it when I'm not using it. Considering myself a Nokia man, I'm not disappointed with the software - I owned the 5800 so I knew what to expect.
The widgets are a great addition - brings something new to a Nokia device. The touchscreen is as responsive as I'd expect for a resistive screen. I've still not filled the 32GB and I've loaded it with pretty much my entire CD collection, a couple of films and the entire Office Series 1 and 2. What's more, the battery hasn't run out once, which is a sure sign that Nokia have booked their ideas up!
The only things i will have a gripe about for now, as I'm sure it will be sorted out by v11 hopefully is. I like the widgets but they are sometimes not as up to date as you'd hope. For example, if I'm playing music and I have one of the widgets set up for music , when I'm in music player I can play a track - when I press red or switch to Homescreen it hasn't changed on the widget and doesn't tend to unless i turn off and on again.
Also, when I go into main menu and press for example messaging, it gives me feedback so I know I've pressed it yet the screen doesn't change. when i touch the screen again it then starts 'loading' with a slight delay that doesn't react until you touch it again.
I'm going to say this is probably the second best phone I've ever owned. I still pick up my Nokia N95, which my girlfriend is currently using, and wish they could do that again in a device! Who knows - maybe after a few firmware updates I'll go as far to say its the best device I've owned.'
