Nokia 6760 v Nokia 5730 - which will you wait for?

Nokia and QWERTY sliders - it's like buses. You wait ages for one, then two turn up at once: the Nokia 6760 slide and Nokia 5730 XpressMusic. Both of these upcoming handsets are S60 3rd Edition phones based on the E75 and blessed with a pop-out panel with a full complement of keys - but which is the one for you?

The 5730 XpressMusic is obviously designed with entertainment in mind. It comes in funky bright blue and red colour options (plus monochrome for those who prefer their phones a little more understated) and its music player supports MP3, AAC and WMA. There's a massive 8GB of storage too, thanks to the microSD card in the box - and if that's not enough you can expand it to 16GB. A Comes With Music version is planned, so filling up all that storage space could be pretty easy...

There's also a 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

The 6760 slide is aimed at people that like to keep in touch, no matter where they are. This handset comes packed with social networking talent, so whether you like to hammer out full emails in Outlook or prefer to tap out tweets, it's got you covered. There's Windows Live Instant Messaging and Google Talk too.

Of course, its skills go further than that, with A-GPS built-in, a 3.2-megapixel camera and the usual music skills - but only 2GB of included storage (via microSD), expandable to 8GB.

Price-wise, the 5730 XpressMusic will cost £289 (inc. VAT), while the 6760 slide is yet to be confirmed but will probably be close to £200 (inc. VAT).

So, which of these two sliding stars gets your vote? Which quirky QWERTY-carrier will you be shelling out for come launch day? Let us know in the comments box below.
