The Nokia CP-382 carry case is an official Nokia product and has been made to fit the Nokia N97 like a glove. The design takes a completely different approach from the more elaborate ToughGuard Shell or more high-end Noreve Tradition Leather Case, and is a essentially a low-tech approach to solving the problem of keeping your Nokia N97 clean.

Instead of a carry case, this is more a pouch, kind of like the same people use for their sun-glasses, or 'spare' spectacles. You simply slide your smartphone in and its protected. What's more, as the end leaves the top of the device exposed, you'll be able to plug your headphones in. There is even a loop to attach your stylus if you're so inclined.

Being a pouch, it doesn't add to the bulk of weight of the Nokia N97, so you'll still be able to carry it around in your jacket pocket. The material used has a slightly odd texture to it, which aids gripping the case. That said, it feels incredibly tough to the touch and designed to make the most of protecting your Nokia N97.

Sure, you'll need to take the Nokia N97 out every time you want to use it, but that's the only draw back of this low-tech approach. We've found over the last fe days that the sides of the pouch have relaxed a little, so getting the smartphone in and out is a little easier.
