Nokia Software Updater v1.7.3 goes lives

Nokia Software Updater Version 1.7.3 is the latest update to Nokia's smartphone software updater tools. This may not be big news but we mention it as it's an essential part of keeping on top of your Nokia smartphone. Nokia Software Updater Version 1.7.3 overwrites the previous version of NSU and is available now.

Nokia Software Updater is the application on your Windows desktop that you sync to in order to get the latest updates on your Nokia phone. The update hasn't made any visual changes to the software and seems to merely have fixed a few bugs and connectivity issues in the background.

It may have been wishful thinking but when we checked updates for our Nokia 5800, Nokia Software Updater Version 1.7.3 seemed to be a little quicker. Like we say, that may just been wishful thinking but quicker update times are always welcome.

You'll find you'll get this update as soon as you launch the Nokia Software Updater and it overwrites the previous version. If for any reason you don't already have Nokia Software Updater then you can download it from Nokia.

    Used the new updater to update my wife’s N79 just to have it BRICKED :/ Nokia USA wont take care of it since; it wasnt brought here I have to find someone that can!! Nokia MUST come up with a better system that can reduce, this from happening. Followed all instructions like I did with my own E71 and N97 that I just got; with no issues until my wife’s N79!!! Great in the DOG HOUSE LOL ;)
