The Nokia E52 has only just graced the market. In fact, it's that new we've only just got our hands on the Nokia E52. However, that hasn't stopped the first BBC iPlayer widget from appearing. With this basic app you'll be able to catch up on all your favourite shows from the last seven days. Find out more about how to get BBC iPlayer on your Nokia E52 after the jump...

The Guys over at S60 Mobile have put together a widget that allows you to watch BBC iPlayer on your Nokia E52, as well as the Nokia E55 or Nokia E72. Apparently, this is the basic version of the app that has been modified to allow you to watch streamed BBC TV shows here in the UK.

Sadly, it doesn't allows for downloads, nor can you access the radio stations using this version. However, for basic TV programmes over Wi-Fi, as well as on certain 3G networks according to the guys, then this is the app for you.

We've had a quick play and it's early days for this mod, as we found it easy enough to install but it's a little tricky to get the most out of it. Still, big Kudos for getting a head start over the BBC on getting the mod up and running.

If you've not checked out the Nokia E52, then it's essentially an update and overhaul of the Nokia E51, which was one of the best selling S40 phones for Nokia. The Nokia E52 costs £229.95 (inc. VAT) SIM free.

Works perfectly on a Nokia E72.

Works perfectly on my E72. But this website, noknoktv does not. The Mippin service that mobilises the site denies access to this page so you cant browse to it in order to download direct to your device!

I get a Script alert :Undefined Value on my E72 when trying to run this app. I have tried downloading it direct and installing and also dropping it in from my laptop.

Both ways install fine but result in the same error when running it.
