Nokia 5230 announced in colourThe Nokia 5230 has been released in an amazing array of colours. This 3.2-inch smartphone takes pretty much the same styling as the Nokia 5800 but with a much more entry-level pricing. Check out the different colours and what you can expect from the Nokia 5230 after the jump...

The Nokia 5230 has made a bright and breezy appearance this morning, and judging by the array of colours on offer, Nokia has been spending a lot of time pondering the Pantone chart. This Symbian S60 smartphone is very much in keeping with other touchscreen phones, having a stylish design with an emphasis on music and movies, as well as staying permanently connected.

The Nokia 5230 is a 3.2-inch touchscreen device that apparently comes with a full-screen 'soft' QWERTY keyboard, as well as the new Homescreen we first saw on the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. This means you'll be able to load four of your favourite apps straight from the homescreen, including the likes of Facebook and YouTube.

It also comes with the same Contacts bar that allows you to add up to 20 contacts with pictures and scroll between them. You'll find a super-fast HSDPA connection for getting access to email and the internet and with a claimed 33 hours of playback from the media player, this is very much a device for music lovers out there.

Other features include assisted-GPS with Ovi Maps, a 2-Megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.0.

The Nokia 5230 will ship in two different flavours, you'll be able to pick up a standard version for 149 Euros (£130), while a Nokia 5230 Comes With Music will set you back just 259 Euros (£225) where CWM is in operation.

i dont see the point in bringing out a new touch screen comes with music phone as there are already 2 in the market as you said its going to cost people £130 which is the same amount it would cos t you for a nokia 5530 and thee only difference there is is that it hs a bigger screen the 5530 is value for money as it has anctive flaah on the back beside the camera as thre 5530 does not and they both have the same software so its just a con for making money
