The Nokia 'Alvin' RM-559 smartphone has been outed on FCC ahead of Nokia World 2009. Could the Nokia RM-559, which has the code-name of Alvin according to the FCC report, be one of the devices to make it's first official appearance at Nokia World 2009? Join us after the jump for the facts on the Nokia Alvin RM-559...
Nokia World 2009 is just 24 hours away but that hasn't stopped what could well be a brand new class of device from leaking onto the internet.
Check out what we can expect at Nokia World 2009
The Nokia RM-559 has the code-name of 'Alvin' and shares the same 32GB of internal memory as the flagship Nokia N97 and the newly announced Nokia N900. However, according to the official papers on the FCC, the RM-559 has a longer and slimmer body, so could well have a striking new look.
Few definite facts are known at this stage, as even the official image is just a sketch at this stage. However, from the documents it looks like we'll be getting quad-band GSM connectivity, tri-band WCDMA (900/1900/2100MHz), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, as well as the already mentioned 32GB of internal memory
The Nokia Alvin seems to also share the same BL-5J (1320 mAh) battery found in the Nokia N900, so this device looking very much like a hybrid of the best Nokia has to offer. With rumours floating round about a new Nokia C Series and Nokia X Series, could the Nokia 'Alvin' RM-559 smartphone be the first sighting of either of these devices?
With less than 24 hours until the start of Nokia World 2009 we don't have long to wait. One thing is for sure, we're unlikely to get an official outing of the Nokia 'Alvin' RM-559 smartphone this close to the event.
