Nokia N900 Camera Test ShotsThe Nokia N900 is coming in October and while most peope have been wowed by the versatility of the Maemo 5 OS, there is more to this smartphone than just it's OS. Take the camera for instance, it's got a great 5-Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optic and it's skills are already being put to the test over at the OneDotZero. However, it seems testers have been busy posting images taken with the Nokia N900 on Flickr too. Join us after the jump to see the Nokia N900 camera test shots...

The Nokia N900 was the undisputed star of the recent Nokia World 2009 show. It's the mix of Nokia's latest high-end features with the Maemo OS that has people excited. The latest feature to be drawn to our attention is the camera, as it seems a bunch of Nokia people have been posting their test shots on to Flickr.

The guys over on the Nokia Blog seem to have a novel way of finding this stuff out, which involves trawling Flickr for secret codes – it seems the Nokia N900 was originally 007 001. Anyhow, they've pulled together a bunch of pictures taken with the Nokia N900, which is presumed have been taken by Nokia people to show how versatile the device really is.

We've pulled up two images that we think best show off the 5-Megapixel Carl Zeiss optics that is the Nokia N900. The first is a moody shot on a subway train posted by mdamt that shows the depth of field of the Nokia N900 camera.

The second shot is the Nokia N900 in macro mode and posted by Kaltsi and highlights that even at close range this handset can get stunning results. If you want to see more samples, we suggest popping over to the Nokia Blog to check out the images on offer.
