Nokia Erdos to replace Nokia 8800? The Nokia Erdos is a new slinky handset that was leaked on to the web last week and is thought to be the replacement for the wealthy-handset of choice, the Nokia 8800 Gold Arte. The Nokia Erdos even got leaked with a shiny video to go along with it. Well, it seems the video has been pulled. Check out the mystery on the mystery handset after the jump...

If you were hoping that Nokia were about to make the Nokia Erdos a reality, then you can safely keep your credit card in your wallet for a little while longer, as it seems the leaked phone for the 'potential' super-rich has gone back under cover.

As a recap, the Nokia Erdos is said to sport a 2.4-inch screen, come with Wi-Fi, A-GPS as well as have HSDPA connectivity inside. It will also pack everyone's favourite Carl Zeiss 5-Megapixel camera inside its silver bullet style casing.

The guys over at Electricpig have been keeping tabs on the development of this phone and have flashed up that the video of what was reported to be the Nokia Erdos has been pulled from YouTube. We linked to the video on our own story and it has indeed been pulled. This is fair enough, as the device is still under wraps.

However, does this confirm that the Nokia Erdos is soon to be amongst us? No doubt we'll find out in the next week or so but for now, is the Nokia Erdos the kind of phone you need in your life? Let us know in the Comments below.
