Fancy watching a little bit of Live TV on your Nokia 5800 smartphone? Sure, we've got BBC iPlayer here in the UK but it seems Live TV 1.1.0.7 is on its way to a Nokia 5800 (and Nokia 5530 XpressMusic) as part of an update. Or is it? Join us after the break to find out more about the Live TV 1.1.0.7 update....
Live TV 1.1.0.7 could well be on its way to the Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530 XpressMusic handsets. We noticed yesterday on the Nokia Software Updater that a Live TV 1.1.0.7 update had been posted. Funny thing is, this morning it's no longer there! We've checked out the software updater on our Nokia 5800 and there is nothing incoming, so we're hoping it pops up over the next few days.

Now, does this mean the update won't be coming, or has it just been delayed by a few days? At this stage we juts don't know. What we do know it that Live TV 1.1.0.7 is an application that enables use of DVB-H mobile tv services if you are using the SU-33 Nokia Bluetooth DVB-H receiver. It also appears that full touchscreen support will be built in.
When the update finally comes through, you'll be able to get this software through your handset using the SW Updater. To do this go to Applications > SW update. To download and install the selected updates select Options > Start update.
Just to recap, Live TV 1.1.0.7 should be coming to the Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530 XpressMusic devices but at this point it's anyone's guess as to when it will hit.
