In many respects, the Nokia E52 and Nokia E55 are aimed at the same user, someone who is looking for a great email and messaging device with a killer battery life. The Nokia E52 has been available for a few weeks now and it's about to be joined by the Nokia E55.

We were seriously impressed with the Nokia E52, as it comes with the standard Nokia features, such as A-GPS, high-speed HSDPA and HSUPA connections, and even a 3.2-Megapixel camera. However, it was the battery life that swayed us, as this is one long-lasting handset.

The Nokia E55 is being billed as the ’smallest Nokia smartphone yet’ and with an aluminium casing it’ll weigh in at just 98g. With a 2.4-inch screen (320 x 240 pixels) it can easily view documents in landscape mode, and gives you full access to Email, Calendar and Contacts. What’s more, it’ll have a new interface.
