The Nokia E55 is the sibling to the Nokia E52 but with one quite subtle difference, the Nokia E55 comes with a QWERTY keyboard instead of a numeric keypad. We loved the Nokia E52 so much that we thought it wise to see if we felt the same way about this latest version. Find out what the Nokia E55 consists of and what's in the box, as we carry out a Nokia E55 unboxing and give it a NokNok hands-on...
When we looked at the Nokia E52 a few weeks back, we were impressed with the overall feel, usability and belting battery life of this E Series messenger. So, when the Nokia E55, which for all intents and purposes has the same design, came down the pipe, we knew we wanted to take a look-see and test it out.

The difference between the two handsets is all in the keyboard, with the Nokia E55 having a full QWERTY arrangement spread over four lines. So, you'll find there are five keys on each line, so letters are doubled up but it's easy to get to grips using this smartphone.
We'll be testing it out over the next few days and seeing if the battery life is as good as we found on the Nokia E52. In the meantime, feast your eyes on our Unboxing, check out what you get for your money and see how good it looks in the hand.
The Nokia E55 is ready to ship from Nokia Online and costs £299 (inc. VAT) SIM free.
