The Nokia E72, the update of the much loved Nokia E71, has officially got it's own pre-order page over at Nokia Online. This latest messenger still packs in a full QWERTY keyboard and stunning screen but is a slimmer and sleeker casing. There is even an improved camera and better battery life to boot. Find out how much the Nokia E72 costs after the jump...
The Nokia E72 isn't so much a re-invention of the Nokia E71, it's more a gentle update of what has truly become a messaging classic. However, we can expect a refined look and a slightly slimmer body that now measures just 10mm thick and has an overall weight of 128g.

However, it is inside that the main changes have been made with a 5-Megapixel camera now taking up pride of place. The new Optical Navi Key allows for convenient and easy scrolling through menus, email messaging and maps. You’ll still find A-GPS is supported and the use of Nokia maps comes as standard. For those who need to download or send large files, the HSDPA connection will now support speeds of up to 10.2Mbps
The Nokia E72 went up for pre-order in the US earlier this week, where the price is set at $469. So, how much will it cost. Well Nokia Online is selling the UK version for just £359 (inc. VAT), which also comes with free shipping when the device finally hits the market. This is a lot cheaper than speculation had suggested.
We're not too sure when the launch date will be. However, usual Nokia trends would suggest that any time between two and six weeks after the pre-order hitting, we'll see the device leave the factory.
So, will you be upgrading your trusty Nokia E71 for this lusty new upgrade? Or are you happy with the messenger you have now? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments below.
