The Nokia E72 isn’t so much a re-invention of the Nokia E71, it’s more an update of what has become a messaging classic. However, we can expect a refined look and a slightly slimmer body that now measures just 10mm thick and has an overall weight of 128g.

The Nokia E72 has been given a great general hands-on by the guys over at fonehome, who found it much more stylish than anything BlackBerry could throw together. They're more than impressed with the large black keys and found the 10mm metal body nice to the touch.

However, it seems that it's the speed of the Nokia E72 that really makes an impression. Partly this is due to the software but also due to the keyboard being super-slick and highly responsive.
