We’ve been covering the Nokia N900 quite extensively of late, and needless to say we’re quite excited about it. Last week there was the news that you can turn the Nokia N900 into a mobile SNES, and this week the first official downloads for Maemo 5 began. However, the news of today is this: the Nokia N900 has Auto-focus for both photographs and videos, read on to find out more...
The Nokia N900’s Auto-focus is a built-in mechanism that focuses the lens for you - i.e It moves the lens in and out until the sharpest possible image of the subject is captured. This makes taking pictures a lot easier, and also enables you to produce clearer, better defined shots.
Additionally, this Auto-focus is available for when shooting videos as well, so no more blurry footage of nights out - everything will be focussed, clear and precise, and all without you having to lift a finger.
This all came to light when the good guys over at thenokiablog started to test out their loan unit. While we have to thank them for bringing this to our attention, we also have to curse them as they're playing with the one device we're itching to get our hands on right now, the Nokia N900!
