Nokia Booklet 3G flies Stateside The Nokia Booklet 3G mini-laptop is set to fly Stateside. After the announcement last week that Nokia's first foray into the laptop market would appear in Germany, it has been revealed the U.S. of A. will be able to pre-order their Nokia Booklet 3G from the 22nd October too. Join us after the jump for full pricing and release details...

In an exclusive deal through Best Buy and available on mobile carrier AT&T, the Nokia Booklet 3G will be flying Stateside. To get your hands on one of the first batch of devices it will cost you $299.99 and you'll need to sign up to a 24-month AT&T Data Connect plan.

Remember, it's expected that there will only be 100,000 devices worldwide as part of the initial rollout, so making sure you have your pre-order in place is the only way of being sure of getting your mini-marvel.

What's more, it seems that Best Buy will be putting its best foot forward by helping customers get online as quickly as possible by helping users set up their machine, give them a whistle-stop tour of the Windows 7 operating system and even show off the pre-installed Ovi Suite apps and other Nokia tools.

Finally, the pre-order starts on the 22nd October the same as in Germany and Italy, but it seems unlikely that the Nokia Booklet 3G will actually start to ship until mid-November at the earliest.

Now, the only question we have left is, what about the UK? When will we be able to get our hands on this all-day laptop?

Watch out though, the $299 price point also requires a connection plan.

There are other netbooks on the market that may better suit your needs and do not require a contract to purchase.

I ran some benchmarks and give more detail about what this netbook can potentially do in this review: http://bit.ly/44CHFm
