Video: Nokia X6 gets hands-on Been wondering how the Symbian S60 OS will handle under a capacitive screen? Well, wonder no more as the upcoming Nokia X6 will be the first Nokia device to sport such a screen. What's more, it's been caught on video in a full hands-on demo of the screen, as well as other features, in action. Chekc out the Nokia X6 hands-on video for yourself after the jump...

The Nokia X6 looks like it may well be the natural successor to the Nokia 5800, as it takes many of its design cues from the best-selling touchscreen but still manages to have a style all its own. The 3.2-inch  touchscreen sits in a true widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio and makes the most of its capacitive technology, so apps load quickly and getting around looks smooth. What’s more, the Nokia X6 packs in a whopping 32GB of storage, so you’ll be able to carry your entire music collection around with you.

The Homescreen, first seen in the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, has also been added, so you can add 20 friends, as well as have instant access to Facebook and other social media tools. From the video the guys over at Symbian Guru have put together, this works great with the screen and everything about this device is starting to look pretty impressive.

The Nokia X6 still has yet to get an official launch date but will ship later this year with an estimated price of around 459 Euros (£400 inc. VAT).
