Nokia N920 running Maemo 6 image leakedThe Nokia N900 isn't even out of the gate yet but it seems its successor is already being prepped. There is nothing new or wrong in that you may say. After all, it makes great business sense. However, letting leaked images of what could well be the Nokia N920 onto the web is quite another. Join us after the jump for the latest speculation on the Nokia N920 Maemo follow-up...

While we're sat here patiently waiting for Nokia to announce the official launch date of the Nokia N900 running the Maemo 5 operating system, it seems that the next generation of device – referred to as the Nokia N920 at this stage – is already being lined up.

The guys over at pocketables have even managed to bag an image of what looks like an early prototype with Maemo 6 the most likely choice of OS. The spec being proposed is a 4.13-inch capacitive, multi-touch screen. However, while the guys claim the Nokia N920 device is keyboard-less, looking at the image we'd have to disagree as there are definite signs of this being another slider device.

The remaining tech spec is most likely to be in keeping with the current Nokia N900, so we'll find 32GB of memory, 5-Megapixel camera, GPS, full HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.

So, what do you think? Does this leaked image really look like the next-gen Maemo device? Will it have a QWERTY keyboard or will this be a touchscreen only solution? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments below.
