Sometimes things we take for granted on a full-blown laptop or PC take a little time to move over to our Nokia smartphones. Take Google Reader for instance, as this is one of those apps that should be everywhere but itsn't. Fortunately, this is all about to change with the launch of gReader, the Google Reader for Symbian smartphones. Find out more about gReader after the jump...
Google Reader allows you to read all your RSS feeds and other aggregated content through a single interface. However, until now there hasn't been a satisfactory solution for Noia smartphones. Well, it seems that MojosMobile, the guys behind the clever Twitter app Twittix, have seen a gap in the market and put together gReader, the Google Reader client.
The guys (in this instance gal) over at Symbian Guru have been lucky enough to get their hands on a preview copy of gReader and have a rather exhaustive run-through of their experiences with it so far. The piece shows setup and even integration with Twitter works fine.
According to the story, gReader is 'pretty darn close to the perfect Google Reader client on Symbian', which is some accolade in itself. It's worth checking out the piece as it's a pretty interesting read – even on a laptop screen and not on your favourite aggregator.
