The Nokia Booklet 3G is quite a prospect, and the first of Nokia’s attempts at competing in the PC market - needless to say, we’re certainly exited about getting our hands on one. The Booklet 3G, which will ship with Windows 7, is available in Germany on O2 Germany, so the possibility of it coming out on O2 in the UK is looking ever more likely - it’s just a question of when...

So how has the Booklet 3G fared so far since it’s release in the States and Germany? Well, according to a report from China’s Economic Daily News, Compal, the company that manufactures the Booklet 3G is struggling to keep up with the current demand for Nokia’s first ever PC, which is certainly a good start!
The report also mentioned that Nokia plans on releasing a new model in 2010. While the Nokia Booklet 3G has evidently gotten off to a good start, there are a few issues which seem to be circulating with it. For starters, there’s only 1 GB of RAM, which isn’t upgradable and the screen does not work well in direct sunlight. Maybe these issues will be taken of care of in the new model - we can only hope.
