I saw this weeks ago and thought it was coming out in October. We’re now into Novemeber and it’s still being talked about. There are plenty of good handsets out there and whislt I would have preferred this one I’ve got bored waiting and am off to replace my blackberry with a blackberry !!!

  • Aaron

..I agree with ‘doug’ – Nokia has taken too long on delivering this phone to the public. As a result, they are getting beaten up in sales by Apple and RIM who are able to quickly put products in the market without a four month delay on every shipment. Too bad for Nokia…in a span of two years they have lost 10% of their market share and it continues to slide every month.

Most definately agree. Nokia seem to be on a campaign to loose more market share. The delay of the Nokia E72 has certainly left a lot of E series fans totally disappointed. They seem to ignor that business users require the solution now!!! and as such are not going to wait around 5 months for a phone to be release. I for sure is going with the Blackberry Bold 9700.

I was a genuine fan of Nokia till last week when I decided to put an end to 5 months last waiting, Believe it or not! I had been waiting for this “so called” E72 for the past 5 months. I ‘m pissed of .. There is no better reason for losing its market share to RIM or Apple and others.
Nokia: I dont know if you realised or not: its the time when people no longer wait for getting a phone in hand, there are plenty out there in street… But I was an idiot who believed NOKIA …not any more.
I’m happy with my new Bold and I decided whatever comes, I wont come back for nokia.

  • Aaron

Again, totally agree. Just got the new Bold! It’s awesome! Sorry Nokia, I can’t wait months on end for a phone…

Also totally agree with Stanley, Nokia has let us down and waiting for ages. I am waiting for the E72 since the promo video first leaked late last year.

And they also miserably failed to give us a reason for the delay. And this in 2009 with Twitter and 10years of Cluetrain. Wtf, really.

I just want to agree with everyone. Nokia seem to be on a suicide mission. With a basketful of releases while we have been waiting for the E72, they have failed miserably in keeping their customers informed as to progress.

I had a call from Vodafone the other day telling me that the phone was now available and I effectively told him to get lost. Clearly not the caller’s fault but Nkia’s and unfortunately the same net result. I am a fan of both Vodafone and Nokia but on this occassion I think Nokia can go take a hike!
