Nokia N900 It seems that the Nokia N900 is going from strength-to-strength following its official release last week - reports so far seem good, reviews look extremely promising, and new applications and features for it are springing up everyday. And today is no different with the news that Sygic now works on Maemo 5. Read on how the Nokia N900 is to be guided by voices after the jump for more details...

Sygic, which has been available on the iPhone as well as other devices for sometime now, is now making its way over to the Nokia N900 and should be available before the end of the year - maybe they were anticipating something big here?

Sygic is a GPS application that offers turn-by-turn voice guided direction, which is always a handy alternative to Google and Ovi Maps when you’re in unfamiliar territory and require specific direction.

In addition, because Sygic offers voice guided directions, it can be used as a cheaper alternative to you’re in-car TomTom Navigation device, which if we’re honest, are sometimes more hassle then they’re worth!

So what do you think, will you be investing in this neat little application for you’re Nokia N900? Keep us updated with your findings and comments on Sygic in the Comments below.

The device needs complete voice command/control – for contacts, music, search etc etc etc. I would not touch it otherwise.
