Actually no it doesn't havet twice the RAM (it should have because 128 isn't enough) it has double the C: compared to N97 so 512MB NAND meaning less out of C: errors when updating software between firmwares and downloading Apps also messaging doesn't need to be directed to E:

I played with the N97 mini for 5 mins. at a Nokia dealer. The mini has good looks . Everything was working and loading like a champ. Only the Photo Gallery took longer to load. Overall a nice phone from Nokia. Now if only a faster processor was inside but that\'s a differently story :-)

Jonah is right, there is twice the RAM, so apps do load smoother - he could have been nicer about our review though :)

Double the ram of the N97? are you sure about that because frm what i have been reading, the mini has the same ram as the N97. I really concerned about this because am looking to get the device but am worried about it ability to multitask. LIke how many applications can be ran at the same time before the phone starts closing them

I like this site but that is one rubbish review. Firstly mention the RAM, the N97 mini has double the RAM compared to the original N97, this means the phone performs faster. The GPS locks on faster on the mini, the cheap flimsy plastic back of the original N97 is replaced by a nice metal piece. The N97 mini has fixed the camera shutter on the back, which means your beautiful lens won't get scratched etc. Its a totally brilliant phone by Nokia, who cares about the reduction in storage, you can get a microSD card dirt cheap, its literally a no contest, the mini floors the original N97. They should have called it the N98 or E-something lol, then these silly comparisons would stop.
