This year has seen the consolidation of all Nokia’s services and applications under one roof, The Ovi Store. So far, this is been a vast improvement on the old paradigm, and has meant that users the globe over can access all that the Nokia has to offer in a more efficient and intuitive manner. However, adding further to this trend is the newly released update for Ovi Mail Setup for S60 platform devices. Read on after the jump for more details.

This update is only for newcomers to Ovi Mail, and by newcomers we mean people that have never used the service before. So, if you are already a registered Ovi Mail user, don’t do anything and the update will happen automatically.

According to Nokia Beta Labs, the updated version of Ovi Mail fixes several bugs and opens the application up to over 18 different languages: Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malay, Brazilian Portuguese, English (UK), English (US), Finnish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese (PRC), Spanish, Spanish (Latin America), Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese.

This updated application will allow users to sign-up for an Ovi Mail account straight from their device and will configure the account in your email client so you can start using Ovi Mail right away.
