Nokia has announced that it is releasing an exclusive Rihanna application, which is designed to bring her fans closer to news, photos, and exclusive videos of the pop-princess. What's more, it's free and only available from the Nokia Ovi Store. Read on after the job for more details...
The new application is to be made available across a number of handsets including the Nokia X6, the Nokia N97, and the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. As well as news and photos, the application will allow users to view exclusive video content and music.
In terms of video content, users will be able to access live performance videos from Rihanna’s album launch event. In addition to this, fans will be able to download music samples, a biography, and an exclusive photo library, as well as info on her forthcoming 2010 tour.
And if that wasn’t enough, the Rihanna application also has a direct link to the Nokia Music Store where users can download an exclusive bonus track, Hole in My Head, which was written and produced by Justin Timberlake.
Additionally, Donni Hotwheels’ remix of Rihanna’s single, Russian Roulette, is also up for grabs once you download her album, Rated R, from the Nokia Music Store. Rihanna did a showcase in conjunction with Nokia on the 16th November where she played some new songs off her new album, as well as some old classic tracks. This showcase, as well as the actual Rihanna App, is now available Nokia/Rihanna.
Check out The Nokia Music Store to download Rated R, complete with the bonus track and exclusive remix.
