Nokia Image Exchange is effectively an online image gallery that lets you take full advantage of your snaps without trying too hard. Still very much in Beta phase, Nokia Beta Labs has released the app and is looking for feedback. Read on after the jump to find out what else the Nokia Image Exchange has to offer...
Nokia Image Exchange is still at an experimental stage, and is designed by Nokia's Beta Labs – the division responsible for new software. This means there may well be some big changes before the final version of Nokia Image Exchange then, but it still has a lot to offer in prototype form. In concept, however, it's similar to Nokia's Ovi Share – an online photo sharing site, which is ideal for both sharing and the safe-keeping of your treasured moments.
Nokia Image Exchange generates image thumbnails for your private web account – and once you've set it up and used it for the first time, it should be quite quick. Those of you with unlimited data tariffs will get the most out of the service, with the ability to be connected and share information at all times.
Along with the ability to quickly and easily create an account, the Nokia Image Exchange also offers automatic backup and synchronisation for your pics and the data within them – with data also shared – and the service offers notifications when new photographs are uploaded by one of your contacts. A simple to use interface also makes it a doddle to download your friends' images – so sharing really couldn't be easier.
Don't just take our word for it though, head on over to Nokia Beta Labs to download Nokia Image Exchange. Once you've tried it, get in touch and let us know what you think.
