Recycling your old handset is growing in popularity, not only is is good for the environment but it means you can put the cash you get back towards a brand new spanking Nokia handset. With the growth of online phone buyers, we thought we'd put together a list of the Top Ten (12 including variants) most valuable Nokia phones should you be thinking of upgrading.

We chose SellMyMobile for this experiment as it compares 16 of the UK’s top mobile phone buyers, including all the big guys like Envirofone, Mazuma and Fonebank, to see what the value if the average Nokia handset was. We were surprised to find that almost all are worth over £100 as a trade-in, with the Nokia N97 being worth £197 while the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic comes in at £86.
