The Proporta Twisted System Portable Speaker set consists of a pair of speakers, each one measuring 70 x 70 x 70mm so can easily be dropped into your weekend bag. What's more, with an overall weight of 400g, they won't be a burden.
On the main unit you'll find mini-USB port, for adding a little extra music boom to your Nokia Booklet 3G for instance, along with a Audio port in for connecting to the 3.5mm audio jack on your Nokia smartphone. There is also a line-out port for hooking up to the satellite speaker.
The Proporta Twisted System Portable Speaker takes 3 x AAA batteries and so far so normal. However, the 'Twisted' of the name refers to the neat design twist. Each satellite initially has the speaker facing upwards but you can twist the body to position the speaker in any direction you like.
There is an On/Off switch on the base of the main unit, as well as a volume controller. The build quality is great with the two-tone black – glossy and matt – looking and feeling great to the touch. When it comes to audio quality, the Proporta Twisted System Portable Speakers sound great. We plugged our Nokia 5800 into them and while we've always been impressed with the volume and quality on offer, these speakers help you take it up a notch.
