The Nokia X6 16GB takes everything we know about Nokia's first capacitive screen smartphone and moves the device away from being for the music enthusiast and more for the mainstream. So, we still get the fantastic 3.2-inch touchscreen, 5-Megapixel camera and GPS built-in. However, it no longer comes with the Nokia Music subscription and the memory has been halved. The real beauty of this is that with a price of £299 (inc. VAT), the X6 16GB makes an appealing upgrade from the Nokia 5800.
At the moment there are two colour variants on offer, with some clear gender models in mind - you can choose from the Nokia X6 16GB in Pink & White, which is clearly aimed at a more feminine audience, while the Nokia X6 16GB in Black looks far more straight-laced and manly.
Stereo-typing aside, it got us thinking whether Nokia will be following up these initial choices with a hint of more colour? After all, the Nokia X6 32GB is offering in Red and Blue variants.
Now, Nokia could be playing clever with this handset and be getting ready to offer colour variants as exclusive deals to network operators. At this stage we just don't know but we're hoping for a little more colour option to match the full-fat version.
