Ovi Suite 2.1 Beta is the latest version of Nokia’s synchronisation software, which lets you transfer content between your Nokia smartphone and your PC. It also lets you manage photographs and text messages, share content, download the latest maps and keep up to date with software for your Nokia.

Following feedback for Ovi Suite 2.0, Nokia Beta Labs – the division responsible for developing the latest software and processing user feedback – has made a host of improvements for Ovi Suite 2.1, and you’ll also be able to make suggestions for improvements for later versions of Ovi Suite.

Ovi Suite 2.1 includes fixes for known bugs, with reliability and stability improved. Nokia Beta Labs has also fixed support for Thunderbird 3.0, letting you choose Thunderbird 3.0 when syncing contacts in Ovi Suite. The latest version of Ovi Suite should also help prevent crashes, with improvements made to Ovi Maps and calendar syncing.
