The same ideal has been built into the Nokia E72 and we have to say we're pretty amazed with how well it's been handling over the last few weeks. The battery is a BP-4L 3.7V 1500mAh and Nokia claims the E72 should offer up to 13 hours of battery usage in talk-mode and up to 16 days in standby, which is pretty amazing considering the power on offer here.
In reality, we've found the battery only needs charging once every three or four days and that's with using the smarthphone not only for messaging but also talking and making the most of the camera functions.
It's not just in standard use that this smartphone delivers, as you'll find the Nokia E72 is economical on battery life when using the multimedia functions too. We've not really tried the Nokia E72 as a serious music player but it should offer up to 37 hours of continuous use. One area we thought would be a serious power drain would be the built-in GPS but that hasn't been the case.
The Nokia E72 has proven to be a solid handset. Not only in terms of design and usability but also in the length of time it'll run for, making this perfect for the mobile traveller.
