Nokia-N900-Controls-Pole-Dancing-RobotsIt’s now getting to the point where we’ve decided the Nokia N900 is capable of absolutely anything – we’ve seen it run full-on computer operating systems and 3D games, and with a Nokia N900 the world appears to be your oyster. Even we were surprised when we saw a pair of pole-dancing robots being controlled by a Nokia N900, however. Read on to find out more…

The Nokia N900’s Maemo 5 operating system offers complete freedom to developers, thanks to its Open Source nature, meaning there’s no limit to the type of applications that can be developed.

Showing that this isn’t restricted to gaming or train timetable applications, Nokia proved just what the Nokia N900 is capable of last night, by revealing a couple of pole dancing robots, controlled entirely by the Finnish company’s range-topping smartphone.

If gyrating robots doesn’t do it for you, Nokia also brought in a robotic DJ, providing the music for the two dancing lovelies. Once again, all of it was controlled by the Nokia N900, which is rapidly making a case for itself as the most versatile smartphone currently on the market.
