Nokia Software Update V.31.012 If you’re you owner of a Nokia E52, check to make sure you’re running the latest software, as Nokia has recently released Firmware Version v31.012. With a number of bugs fixed, the phone should run slightly more smoothly with the new firmware, and you’ll also find a few more changes to the software itself. There aren’t any major changes involved in Firmware Update v31.012, but the bug fixes should see improvements to the all-round user experience.

There are also slight changes to the web browser, email, music store and Ovi Maps. Changes to the Nokia E52’s noise cancellation parameters should also make a difference to call quality.

At present, Firmware Update v31.012 isn’t available OTA (Over The Air), and can only be downloaded the Nokia Software Updater (NSU) on your PC. As always, backup any important files before you carry out the update.

bought a new E52. BT was not working for calling (OK for music).
send to NOKIA care for repair. after 2 weeeks they replace the motherboard & update tto new firmware 31.012.

BT is OK now , but the phone is really too buggy.
contact search (at the home screen)although set to ON but most of the times does n’t work. (will work only once, then goes away. reatrt the phone & then will work once only)

open the contact, & try typing any alphabet , but can’t type.

Although I am working with NSN but was BAD decision to go in for NOKIA E52

Hello, i have this phone for about 4 months, and i am surprised to hear many bad comments about the E52. Mine is working fine, i have update the first firmware, last decemeber, and now last january to the lasted firmware, and the phone still working fine (made in korea). With this last firmware the phone sounds fast than before , particularly, the browser. Under improvements for me since the phone has never gave me any problem its hard to see, besides the OViStore that come embeded with this update.
I think the main problem for all this complains is because some people are installing third party software that clash with the phone software.

If you are going through some problems with your nokia E52 try formatting it (*#7370#), becuase this will remove all your softwares that you have installed, and will only remain things that came with the phone.

I upgraded my E52 to the latest firmware and it has had a very bad effect on the battery life. The phone only lasts 4 hours from fully charged without any calls being made. This lasted for 3 days before upgrading to the new firmware. 2 things:

Has anyone else suffered this same problem?

Anyone know if it\\\’s possible to revert back to the old version?

This is an amazing phone(made in korea) masha-allah i dunno y these people r experiencing such probs
but after the update, i experienced very bad restarting problems for few days but now alhamdulillah its working very fine

i bought an e52 made in korea yesterday and so far i have no problem except that some buttons respond to soft clicks..observing it if any problem would occur.
