Although the update isn’t set to make any changes to functionality, it should help to iron out any bugs in your Nokia E72, helping it to run smoother and with more stability. Tech-Buzz reports that v023.002 isn’t available to download OTA (Over the Air) – which won’t matter to those of you with limited data allowances, as the software is a hefty 160MB. It’s still a shame that the option of downloading it OTA isn’t available though.

Instead, you’ll have to use the Nokia Software Update software on your PC to download the latest software to your Nokia E72. As always, just make sure you backup all your important contacts and files before proceeding with the update, just in case.
