Nokia X6 SIM Memory Full: What to Do!

Nokia X6The Nokia X6 is the latest touchscreen smartphone aimed at the music lover and with two flavours on offer, the 32GB with Comes With Music subscription and the slightly less pakced Nokia X6 16GB, this is a handset we're expecting big things from this year. However, it  seems a small bg has crept into the OS, with a flashing envelop stating the SIM card’s memory reading as full. Read on to find out how to clear the SIM memory full message...

The Nokia X6 is an amazing device – it's the first Nokia touchscreen with a capacitive display, so tapping into your apps and files is quick and easy. However, there seems to be a slight flaw shipping with a number of Nokia X6 devices, whereby the SIM card’s memory reads as full, even though it’s clearly not the case.

Check out our Nokia X6 review

This shows up as a small flashing envelope in the top right-hand corner. Typically, this should mean the SIM memory is full but in some cases, empty slots are not being recognised.

It’s a very simple process to free this up. First go to into Messaging on your Nokia X6, select Options and then SIM Messages. At this stage you need to delete all the SIM messages. This will stop the envelope from flashing and will also correct the error.
