The Nokia N900 has received a minor firmware update taking everyone's favourite smartphone to firmware version v3.2010.02-8 (PR 1.1.1). On the surface this looks like a fairly standard maintenance update that irons out a few kinks and offers a smoother user platform but could there be something else lurking inside? Find out about the Nokia N900 firmware update version v3.2010.02-8 after the jump...
The Nokia N900 is a 3.5-inch smartphone with slide-out QWERTY keyboard running the Maemo 5 OS. It also happens to be the most talked about device for ages, as everyone who comes into contact with the Nokia N900 loves it.
The third Nokia N900 firmware update in less than two months takes the handset to Firmware Update Version v3.2010.02-8. The update is 16.2MB in size and can be had Over The Air (OTA) and along with greater stability adds a host of support for new regions – does this mean we're about to see the Nokia N900 get a global release?
If you're feeling a little more competent about such thing you can get the firmware image from http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php and flashed it yourself using Maemo Flasher.
