The Nokia N97 Mini is a fantastic smartphone, offering loads of features and excellent usability. As with all Nokia handsets, it offers a great calendar function, updating you of upcoming events and functions. It can be a pain entering all of the details, however, so here we show you how to sync your device with Outlook, letting you access your full calendar on your Nokia N97 Mini.

Setting up your Nokia N97 Mini to sync with Microsoft Outlook or other email clients is an easy process, also giving you access to your regular calendar. Open the Nokia PC Suite, and click on the sync icon in the middle. This opens Nokia PC Sync, from which you can easily configure your Nokia N97 Mini.

Click on the spanner icon at the bottom left to set up your Nokia N97 Mini. From here you can choose the application you want to sync with – we use Outlook as it offers an excellent calendar function. Once you’ve picked, click on the next arrow.

The next step is to choose what you want to synchronise – from your calendar to bookmarks and RSS feeds. Following this, you can choose a synchronisation range – with the ability to pick the exact months you want to export to your Nokia N97 Mini.

You’ll then get the opportunity to setup the synchronisation of your email account as well – although if you want to skip this step you can just untick the Inbox and Outbox sections. As before, click the next arrow.

This should be the end of the setup wizard. To synchronise your Nokia N97 Mini with your PC, simply run the Nokia PC Suite again, followed by Nokia PC Sync, and simply click the Sync icon.
