Nokia has updated its Ovi Suite software, ironing out glitches and adding a host of extra features and better usability. The new software comes in the form of Ovi Suite 2.1.0.87, which was released as an update yesterday. It’s definitely worth downloading, as it’ll make syncing your Nokia a much better experience. Ovi Suite has been around for a little while now, but it’s constantly evolving to offer a slicker, more stable user experience. Ovi Suite 2.1.0.87 is the latest version, and following feedback Nokia has tried to iron out as many bugs as possible, so it'll be easier than ever to sync devices such as your Nokia N97 Mini and Nokia 5800.

It’s also added a host of new features, including Ovi.com contacts sync, video transfer and playback – letting you play your favourite video clips via Ovi.com, and device application updates. You’ll also now find support for Mozilla Thunderbird in contacts sync.

As with device updates, if you’ve got anything important saved in Ovi Suite, make sure you back it up before making the update.
