Live Sky TV has come to Nokia handsets and we've been checking out what it looks like on our Nokia 5800. Join us after the break to find out what the interface for the Live Sky TV app from the Nokia Ovi Store looks like.
The Symbian operating system found on most Nokia smartphones - such as the Nokia 5800 or Nokia N97 Mini - is the perfect platform for viewing media content on the move, and the latest Sky app is a great example of this.
It offers free news and sports updates, with an interface that’s remarkably similar to the full Sky News menu seen on a proper TV. At present, we haven’t managed to get the TV clips to run, but along with an image on the left, full news updates accompany it on the right, with easy and intuitive menus dotted around the page.
In addition to news and sports updates, you’ll also be able to subscribe to Sky packages, letting you watch TV on the move. The packages currently consist of News and Sports, Entertainment and Music, with each costing £5 per month.
All-in-all, the Sky app looks like being another good addition to the Ovi Store, and another resource for news and entertainment on the move.
